Welcome to CIU International Office,
At CIU, we are proud of both the CIU cultural mosaic and the diversity of experiences and opportunities it offers.
Our journey starts with the promotion of our university as an institution that stands out for its unique, student-centered approach to higher education, and continues with the encouragement of all students on our campus to actively develop the multiple literacies required by employers internationally. We encourage all students to be actively involved with clubs and societies and participate in the many activities and events that take place and which help promote interaction between different cultures, and the development of both intellectual and emotional character.
Our commitment to global citizenship and values incorporates a strong commitment to the environment and sustainable living in general. Work placements with local industries as well as on-campus work opportunities and assistantships enable our students to build a portfolio of certificated achievements that will make them uniquely poised to face complex challenges in the world. Typical CIU graduates will be well-positioned to apply innovative approaches to solve complex problems, and can look forward to rewarding work opportunities both as employees and entrepreneurs.
For candidates wishing to explore more academic options, the International Office continues its collaboration with partners and other educational institutions to develop; joint degree programs, international exchange programs, and other international educational opportunities.
Our journey together does not end with graduation. Once you have embarked on your new life, you will now become an ambassador for the University. You will be able to make productive use of your achievements through the networks you would have created while at CIU.
