Why is AWSC necessary and what is its mission?

Preparing projects, writing thesis and articles and translating documents are basic requirements to fulfil as part of educational life. However, lack of knowledge on how to prepare these tasks can be a stress factor and projects which are prepared with language problems may decrease the quality of work. AWSC was established to support requests from the academics and students regarding their academic studies.

How can I get in contact with the AWSC?

AWSC is located on the second floor of Education and Humanities Center which houses School of Foreign Languages. Extension number is 2514 or 2509. Alternatively, you can send an e-mail to awsc@ciu.edu.tr

How to apply to the AWSC?

The center works with an appointment system. The students and academics who would like to use the service need to make an appointment from the Center and send a draft version of their paper to awsc@ciu.edu.tr

Applicants will receive a confirmation mail within two (2) working days stating the acceptance of their document and a confirmation of date for the meeting with an academic staff.

Academic writing specialists can revise your paper on time and handover the revised, translated, edited, proofread version of your paper to you at EH 214 or will send it to your e-mail address on demand.

A fee should be paid to the Accounting Office in return for the service you receive from the AWSC.
