About

Accounting is a discipline that records, analyzes, and reports the financial transactions of businesses and institutions. Our university's Accounting Department manages the financial processes of our institution by providing comprehensive services in areas such as financial management, tax practices, cost calculations, and auditing. Our accounting unit ensures that all financial operations of the university are carried out in compliance with regulations, managing income and expense accounts and conducting budget planning. Additionally, it facilitates the financial processes that students may encounter throughout their educational journey by managing student accounting processes. In today's business world, the importance of accounting is increasing, and it is an indispensable element for any institution that aims to establish proper financial management strategies.

Fields of Work

The accounting unit provides services in two main areas:
•    General Accounting
•    Student Accounting

General Accounting

The Accounting Department provides various services to both students and other university units. The General Accounting unit performs the following tasks to ensure the university's financial processes are carried out in a healthy and transparent manner:

  • Preparing and managing the university's budget.
  • Tracking and reporting income and expense transactions.
  • Conducting accounting processes in compliance with financial regulations.
  • Organizing student fees and other financial transactions.
  • Processing academic and administrative staff payments.
Student Accounting

The Student Accounting unit provides various services to simplify the financial processes that students may encounter during their education. Accounting personnel serve international students as well as students from the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Turkey. The Student Accounting unit performs the following tasks to assist students:

  • Monitoring student payments

  • Issuing invoices and managing installment plans

  • Handling the accounting processes related to leave of absence, dismissal, and graduation procedures

  • Preparing scholarship payments and related documentation

  • Evaluating students’ requests regarding financial matters

  • Managing dormitory information and fee processes

  • Handling other accounting-related requests from students

  • Managing payment plans related to students’ education

  • Collecting payments for student cards, transcripts, student certificates, and similar documents

Our mission is to manage all financial processes of our university transparently, reliably, and efficiently, creating sustainable financial policies and providing the best accounting services to students and staff. As the General Accounting unit, our top priority is to manage the university’s financial resources effectively, transparently, and sustainably, ensuring uninterrupted academic and administrative processes. We work to plan the university's budget in the most efficient way, maintain the income-expense balance, and conduct financial processes in compliance with financial regulations. Additionally, we engage in strategic planning to strengthen the university’s financial structure.

Our vision is to become a pioneering accounting unit that makes our university financially strong and sustainable by offering innovative and digital solutions in financial management. As an accounting unit, we aim to provide faster, more accessible, and user-friendly services through digital accounting systems by closely following technological developments. Our primary goal is to support students in managing their educational processes in the easiest way financially, ensuring they can complete financial transactions transparently and swiftly. We are working to carry out all financial transactions students may encounter during their education (tuition fees, scholarships, installments, payment transfers, etc.) smoothly.
