Certificate Ceremony Held for CIU’s Work and Skills Program

A certificate ceremony was held for students, who completed the Summer Training and Certification Program in Work and Skills, organized by the Faculty of Engineering at Cyprus International University (CIU). The program aims to help students gain professional experience and apply their theoretical knowledge in practice by participating in real-world projects. It encompasses activities carried out within the framework of university-industry collaborations.

In his opening speech, Vice Dean of CIU’s Faculty of Engineering, Assist. Prof. Dr. Moein Jazayeri, provided information about the hands-on learning opportunities offered to students through the program. Following his remarks, Lecturer Babak Reihani delivered a presentation on the work carried out throughout the summer, highlighting projects in software development, data and artificial intelligence, solar power plants, smart building automation, and electrical systems. Noting that students had contributed to campus infrastructure, sensor systems, energy management, and automation projects, Reihani stated that the program would continue in future semesters.

At the end of the program, certificates were presented to the students by Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Prof. Dr. Mehmet Kuşaf, Vice Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Öztoprak, and Vice Dean Assist. Prof. Dr. Moein Jazayeri. The ceremony ended with a group photograph of the participants.
