CIU 25-26 Fall Semester Student Works Exhibition Held

"Keep Creating, Questioning, and Redesigning the World"
The 25-26 Fall Semester Student Works Exhibition was held by the Faculty of Fine Arts, Design, and Architecture at Cyprus International University (CIU). Speaking at the opening of the exhibition, Prof. Dr. Cemil Atakara, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Design, and Architecture, stated, "This exhibition is not just a presentation, but a reflection of our faculty's educational philosophy that encourages creativity, innovation, and interdisciplinary thinking." He emphasized that the exhibition showcased the hard work and pride of students, who had spent an entire semester creating their projects.

Atakara added, "Each student project reflects their perspective on the world, their unique ideas, and their design vision. This diversity also demonstrates our faculty's power to unite art, architecture, and design in a common language." He also highlighted that, starting this year, artificial intelligence (AI) technologies have been integrated into various courses within the faculty. Regarding the integration of AI technologies into some courses, Atakara stated, "This development not only transforms our teaching methods but also marks an important turning point for our future exhibitions. I believe that by combining students' creativity with the intelligent tools of the digital age, they will push the boundaries of design even further."

Atakara expressed his gratitude to the academic staff who guided the students during the preparation process, the administrative staff who supported the event, and everyone involved in making the exhibition a reality. He stated that the faculty students were a source of pride and encouraged them by saying, "Keep creating, questioning, and redesigning the world." He concluded with, "Remember, art and design can only exist through the courage of free-thinking individuals."
