CIU Donates English Books to Muharrem Döveç Secondary School

In order to support students’ foreign language learning processes, Cyprus International University (CIU) donated English books to Muharrem Döveç Secondary School. As part of the donation organized by the CIU Library Directorate, a variety of English-language books were added to the school library.

Within the scope of the donation, the books were delivered to Muharrem Döveç Secondary School by CIU Library Directorate staff members Aslı Özdemir and Aylin Aşık, along with Instructor Melek Tilki from the English Preparatory School of School of Foreign Languages. During the visit to the school, the books were presented to the school principal, Yeliz Tosun, in the presence of students and teachers.

This donation aims to increase students’ access to English resources and support their foreign language learning processes. The books added to the school library are expected not only to improve students’ language skills but also to contribute to their reading culture.

Such social responsibility initiatives, carried out within the framework of CIU’s collaborations with educational institutions, aim to support students’ academic development while also strengthening inter-institutional solidarity.
