The CIU FOLKLOR/EDEBİYAT Journal has reached its 107th issue

Cyprus International University’s (CIU) folklor/edebiyat science and culture journal, which is of international quality and is placed in a number of local and universal indexes, such as Ulakbim/Tr-Dizin, and Scopus, has published its August, 107th issue.

Making a statement in relation to this issue, Journal editor Prof. Dr. Metin Karadağ noted that with this issue, they have moved on to a new stage, and that as well as national researchers, they have received quite an important number of scientists from abroad, sending articles to the journal.

Advising that within the article in question there are 12 researches, 4 compilations, and 3 book reviews, Karadağ went on to advise, “Within this issue, along with the articles of prestigious names within the world of science; Prof. Dr. Seval Şahin, Prof. Dr. Kubilay Aktulum, Prof. Dr. Meral Demiryürek, and Prof. Dr. Tülin Arseven to begin with, and with the other products, I believe we have made some important contributions in the field of folklor/edebiyat (folklore/literature).

Explaining that there is a large amount of interest in the journal, Prof. Dr. Karadağ continued, “It is physically possible to see the interest in our journal with each issue, with the vast and valuable collection of articles, along with English scientific research being sent to us from Thailand, Indonesia, Azerbaijan, Kosovo, Iran and Malaysia”.

Adding to his statement that applications were made to the Web of Science indexes, which were planned in parallel with the development phase of the journal, Karadağ concluded, “We expect this installation to be included in the new journal upload portal. I believe that with the achievement of this stage, we will achieve a very important development, not only for our university, but also for our country.”

In his statement, Prof. Dr. Karadağ informed that the next journal will be published in the month of November.
