CIU Signs Protocol with KÜ & Fuat Sezgin Foundation

A protocol for collaborative education and research activities has been signed between Cyprus International University (CIU) and the Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin Islamic History of Science Research Foundation. The protocol was signed by the Rector of Cyprus International University, Prof. Dr. Erbuğ Çelebi, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin Islamic History of Science Research Foundation, Mecit Çetinkaya, as well as the Board Member Necmettin Bilal Erdoğan.

Under the protocol, it is planned to jointly develop education and research programs to promote Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin and support his work in the field of the History of Science. Activities included in the protocol are personnel and student exchanges, overseas educational visits, joint research programs, seminars, workshops, and related service programs.

For the coordination of the development and implementation of the protocol, Cyprus University has appointed the Vice Rector responsible for Academic Affairs, while the Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin Islamic History of Science Research Foundation has appointed the Vice President responsible for External Relations. The protocol is planned to be valid for five years from the date it comes into effect, with the possibility of being renewed for an additional five-year period.

A similar academic and research collaboration protocol has also been signed between Cyprus International University and Kırıkkale University. The protocol was signed by the Rector of CIU, Prof. Dr. Erbuğ Çelebi, and the Rector of Kırıkkale University, Prof. Dr. Ersan Aslan. The protocol aims to develop cooperative education and research programs for the relevant academic staff and students of both institutions. Activities under this protocol include academic staff and student exchanges, overseas working visits, collaborative research programs, seminars, workshops, and related service programs.

For the coordination of the development and implementation of this protocol, Cyprus International University has appointed the Vice Rector responsible for Academic Affairs, while Kırıkkale University has appointed the Vice Rector responsible for External Relations. The protocol is also planned to be valid for five years from the date it comes into effect, with the possibility of being renewed for an additional five-year period.
