CIU SPSRE: May 23rd Friday

The Student Placement and Scholarship Ranking Exam (SPSRE) will be held on CIU campus and in Famagusta and those who are eligible to apply are TRNC citizens who are already high school graduates or who will graduate from high school this academic year, and students who are Turkish citizens but have completed their 4-year high school education in the TRNC will be able to apply for the exam, 

Based on  the SPSRE results, students will be granted academic scholarships which will give them the right to register to one of  the 54 undergraduate and 7 associate degree programs offered in 12 faculties, 4 schools and 2 vocational schools.  Furthermore, students  who have  GCE A'Level, GCE AS Level, IGCSE-GCSE O'Level exam results will gain admission to all programs within quotas specified to students holding such exam results.

Students who will be placed in undergraduate and associate degree programs will have the right to be granted not only 100%, but also 75%, 50% and 25% academic scholarships according to their exam results. In addition to these scholarships, students will also be able to benefit from academic success scholarships, sports scholarships, alumni scholarships, family discounts, as well as various other scholarships provided to teachers, Turkish Armed Forces, TRNC Security Forces Command, and also various discounts provided to the spouses and children of the personnel who serve in the  TRNC General Directorate of Police. 

Prospective students will be able to apply for the exam online through the www.ciu.edu.tr/oybss website until May 22nd, 2025. Additionally, students will also be able to submit their application by visiting the CIU Promotion Directorate on campus or the CIU kiosks to be set up in high schools on certain dates.
