CIU SSPE to be Held on May 22, Friday

Cyprus International University (CIU) Student Placement and Scholarship Ranking Exam (ÖYBSS) will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM in a single session.

The exam will take place at CIU campus and the Gazimağusa Vocational High School. All high school graduates or those who will graduate this year from the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) high schools and students who have completed (or will complete) their 4-year uninterrupted high school education in the TRNC as Turkish citizens can apply.

Based on the results of the ÖYBSS, candidate students will gain the right to enroll in 63 undergraduate and 7 associate degree programs across 12 faculties, 4 schools, and 2 vocational schools, with various scholarship opportunities. Additionally, students with GCE A Level, GCE AS Level, and IGCSE-GCSE O Level exam results will also be accepted into all programs according to the available quotas.

Successful students in the exam will be eligible for educational scholarships in the amounts of 100%, 75%, 50%, and 25% based on their results. Furthermore, in addition to the scholarships won, students can also benefit from academic success scholarships, athlete scholarships, graduate scholarships, family discounts, and additional scholarships and discounts available to personnel of the Turkish Armed Forces, the TRNC Security Command, the TRNC General Directorate of Police, as well as their children and spouses.

Candidates can apply for the exam online at www.ciu.edu.tr/oybss until May 21, 2026. Those who wish can also apply in person at the CIU Promotion Directorate or at CIU promotion booths to be set up at high schools on specific dates.
