Cooperation signed between CIU and CTJU

CIU and the Cyprus Turkish Journalists Union sign a protocol agreement for cooperation, in order to produce joint works and to develop upon their existing relationship.

During the signing ceremony that took place between both of the institutions, CIU Rector Prof. Dr. Halil Nadiri and CTJU President Emin Akkor, signed their signatures upon the mentioned protocol.

Also taking part at the signing ceremony of the cooperation protocol was CIU Vice Rector for Student Affairs Prof. Dr. Emrah Erkut, Faculty of Communication Dean Prof. Dr. Hikmet Seçim, and the CTJU Organization Secretary Canan Onurer.

In a statement made by the CIU Corporate Communication and Public Relations Directorate, it was stated that within the scope of the protocol signed between CIU and the Union, it was the decision of both of the institutions to organize joint scientific, social and professional joint activities, in an effort to improve the service quality of the media communication sectors.

Within the scope of the said protocol, also aiming to cooperate upon student scholarships and internships, it was also decided to organize joint activities for members of the media and especially for students of the CIU Faculty of Communication.
