ITU Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Koyuncu headed the delegation that visited CIU

An ITU delegation consisting of Istanbul Technical University (ITU) Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Koyuncu, Istanbul Technical University North Cyprus (ITU-TRNC) Rector Prof. Dr. Cumali Kınacı and their Vice Rectors, visited the Cyprus International University to share opinions on higher education.

In the meeting where information was shared in relation to the contributions that can be made in the TRNC higher education field, the 5-year goals that have been specified for universities was discussed.

Speaking during the meeting that was held at the CIU Senate Room, Rector Prof. Dr. Koyuncu expressed his satisfaction with regards to the meeting and emphasized the importance of collaborations in the efforts to be made in higher education.

During his speech during the meeting, Rector Prof. Dr. Nadiri gave information in relation to the university and highlighted that CIU is developing in accordance to a planned development strategy.

After a mutual exchanging of gifts between Prof. Dr. Nadiri and Prof. Dr. Koyuncu, a promotional tour of the university campus was made together with the delegation that also consisted of Vice Rectors Valso, where the CIU scientific research laboratories, Faculty of Engineering laboratories, and the Dentistry Practical Laboratory were visited.
