Minister of Health Mr. Pilli visited the CIU Health Laboratories

During his visit to Cyprus International University (CIU), The TRNC Minister of Health Ali Pilli visited the Biotechnology Research Center, Anatomy and Clinical Skills Laboratories, and the Faculty of Dentistry Laboratories and obtained information about the laboratories.

CIU Rector Prof. Dr. Halil Nadiri informed the Minister of Health Ali Pilli and his delegation about the recent developments taking place at the university as well as the projects they were working on, while the Dean of the CIU Faculty of Medicine Prof. Dr. Güldal Mehmetçik briefed the Minister on their educational activities and the laboratories.

During his visit, Minister Pilli stated that the students studying at CIU were very lucky and said, “The Cyprus International University stands out as a globally important educational institution. CIU, which has such a rich education and research infrastructure, is a great asset for our country.”

Minister of Health Pilli pointed out that these opportunities did not exist during the years he went to school, adding technology has advanced a lot today and that current students are more fortunate with the opportunities provided by this technology and therefore should make good use of this opportunity.
