New Student Welcome Event: Orientation Days

2024-2025 Academic Year Fall Semester Student Welcoming and Orientation days organized by Cyprus International University (CIU) is ready to greet the new incoming students. 

Students coming from many different countries will have the opportunity to get to familiarize themselves with the university and campus during these orientation day events organized by the CIU Student Dean's Office and the Social Activities and Clubs Coordination Office.
 
Thanks to the orientation activities, students will not only learn about the university and the campus, but will also have the chance to get to know North Cyprus and its culture where they will  learn many new things, build their future and meet new people.

Aiming to help students easily adapt to university life, CIU Orientation Days will begin with  student welcoming events sponsored by GNÇ Kıbrıs, the youth brand of Kuzey Kıbrıs Turkcell, and continue with a campus tour,  informative  seminars on the university, a cultural city tour of Nicosia and various entertainment events. 

It is stated that clubs, which are an important part of university culture, will be introduced within the scope of orientation days, and students will be able to visit the club stands they are interested in and a club festival will be organized to inform students about club activities that will contribute greatly to their social lives on campus.

The Orientation Days will not only include introductory and informative activities, but also fun celebrations such as the international community festival, open-air cinema night, color festival, and a homecoming party will be organized aiming both to welcome new students and enable them to socialize in their new homes.

Orientation Days will be completed with DJ Barış Turna’s performance at the colorfest event to be held at the CIU Open Air Performing Arts Center on Friday, October 4, and the Niyal Öztürk band performance at the Homecoming Party to be held afterwards.
