“Sustainability” photo competition at CIU

CIU Faculty of Communication is organizing a sustainability photo competition
Department of Public Relations and Advertising of Cyprus International University (CIU), Faculty of Communication, is organizing a photography competition entitled "The World’s most Valuable Asset, Water: Sustainability."

CIU Faculty of Communication Dean Prof. Dr. Aytekin İşman, speaking about the competition, said, "Our aim is to produce visual content to raise awareness about sustainability by drawing attention to problems such as access to clean water, drought, ecological balance, and global warming". Stating that they will encourage the continuity of learning and the sharing of ideas with the competition, İşman said that all CIU students, the professionals of the future, who are the core pillars of  sustainability, can participate in the competition."

Dean İşman noted that students who want to raise awareness about sustainability can apply to this competition organized by CIU until April 14. Stating that students can apply to the contest with a maximum of 3 works, İşman added that original photographs will be accepted. "It is important that students participate in the contest with photographs that have not been published elsewhere before."

Stating that submissions for the CIU "The World’s Most Valuable Asset, Water: Sustainability" photography contest can be sent via e-mail to fotofestcomm2023@ciu.edu.tr, İşman said that students' applications will not be accepted if they are sent by alternative means such as mail, courier or hand delivery.

İşman noted that after the participants fill out the application form in accordance with the rules specified in the competition regulations, should send it via e-mail with their works attached. After the results of the competition are announced, the winners will have the opportunity to take part in the exhibition to be organized by CIU where they will receive their awards.
