Department of Business Administration educates students to become successful individuals who: can contribute to the development of the country; adapt to the competitive environment; have an analytical and observer frame of mind; are equipped with the required professional knowledge and skills; and have good communication skills. The department makes a major contribution to the business world by raising students with the qualities that will provide them with the ability to shape their future by understanding the general process mechanisms of businesses. Curriculum was prepared by considering the effects of economic, social and technological development on businesses. In this context, the students are taught micro and macro economy formation and they learn to recognize the behavioral sciences related to individuals and society. Students learn the processes of production, marketing, finance, human resources, accounting, research and development and public relations as they apply to businesses and the strategies practiced in these areas. Courses are taught in English, and students also have the option to take elective language courses such as German, French, Italian and Russian allowing them to receive preference in the environment of global competition. In addition to theoretical knowledge, the department provides students with the opportunity to assimilate topics better by giving examples from daily events through organizing talks by successful managers and business entrepreneurs or arranging company visits. The academic staff makes special use of the most up-to-date information and communication technologies.
With the continuously updated course content and course books, along with the accreditation provided, our students start their professional lives as competent individuals who know the concepts and the running of modern businesses and can think strategically.
