Student Development and Counseling Center

About

At the SDCC, students' academic achievement, personal development, and psychological well-being are addressed through a holistic approach. Campus life is viewed not only as an educational process but also as a comprehensive experience that supports students' overall development.
Continuous cooperation and coordination are maintained with the Rectorate as well as academic and administrative units. Effective communication is established across the university to ensure that students receive the support they need in a timely and efficient manner. Through ongoing coordination, the effectiveness of student-centered services is enhanced, challenges encountered during the educational process are analyzed, and practical, solution-oriented approaches are developed.

Mission and Vision

The mission of the SDCC is to ensure that CIU students are equipped not only with academic knowledge but also with the opportunity to realize their full potential in educational, social, and personal development. Strategic coordination is maintained among the Rectorate, academic units, and administrative departments. Solution-oriented counseling services and individualized guidance are provided, while a comprehensive support system is established to enable students to benefit effectively from all university resources.

The SDCC aims to become an internationally recognized center of excellence by providing innovative student support and counseling services through strong interdepartmental coordination. Students' university experiences are supported not only in terms of academic achievement but also through personal development, life skills, and psychological well-being, ensuring that these services are delivered in accordance with the principles of excellence.
