The CIU Special Ability Track Exam was held with intense participation

The Special Ability Track Exam held by the Cyprus International University (CIU) for the 2021-2022 Academic Year Fall Semester student intake, was held with intense participation.

The students that are successful in the Special Ability examinations that are organized for TRNC and TR student citizens, who are graduating this year or graduated in past years and are on the TRNC lists, will obtain the right to 100%, 75%, or 50% scholarships.

The examination that was organized at the CIU Arena, and presided over by the School of Physical Education and Sports (SPES) Director, Prof. Dr. Ali Emre Erol, was realized by a commission made up of SPES academicians.

The examination was made up of two stages, a coordination track, and an interview. As well as evaluating the student candidates sporting condition and skills, their sporting past was also evaluated via the interview held.

Stating that with the concrete numerical data that was obtained by the participants as a result of the exam, the scholarships that they will receive will be determined by the success within the group, Prof. Dr. Ali Emre Erol explained that in line with the arising demands, the exams will be repeated periodically, and that they want to bring together the young people who are interested in sports education in the TRNC, with high-quality educational staff and high level physical opportunities.
